ModISC Symposium 2025

Over two dynamic days, from July 10 to 11, 2025, all ModISC members and leading scientists from institutions in Germany and UK gathered for the 3rd and final Symposium of Research Training Group 2482 / ModISC. Hosted at a lecture hall at HHU, the event brought together minds across disciplines to discuss emerging research, innovative technologies, and the future of Intersystem Crossing, OLED emitters as well as luminescence related topics.

With a lineup of keynote speakers that included Jan Gerit Brandenburg [Merck, Germany], Dan Congrave [Oxford, UK], Paloma Lays dos Santos [Sheffield, UK], Carolin Müller [Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany], Alexander Romanov [Manchester, UK] and Bárbara Nogueira de Faria [Düsseldorf, Germany], as well as with the excellent contributions of doctoral researchers the symposium offered inspiring presentations and promoted national and international exchange.
